Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Onboarding Training - 49 req. hrs
In this course, apprentices will learn compliance processes and procedures, which will include ethics, labor charging, etc. using various methodologies and systems, timekeeping, reading work instructions, information systems access, and command media.
MFC Basic Torquing Techniques - 5 req. hrs
In this course, apprentices will learn the basic use of torque wrenches, the basic techniques and fundamentals of torquing, and the problems associated with incorrect torquing.
MFC Initial Installation of Solid Rivet’s, Hi-SF's (High Strength Fasteners) and BF's (Blind Fasteners) - 17 req. hrs
In this course, apprentices will learn a comprehensive standard for the use of solid rivets, high strength fasteners, and blind fasteners' and covers all contractual installation specification requirements.
MFC Safety Wire and Cotter Pin Ops Initial - 9 req. hrs
In this course, apprentices will learn the proper installation of safety wire and cotter pins. Given the Safety Wire and Cotter Pinning lecture, apprentices will identify basic facts related to safety wiring and cotter pinning. Given Safety Wire and Cotter Pinning workbook, materials and tools, apprentices will be able to safely install safety wire and cotter pins in a test set.

In this course, apprentices will learn how to use a fractional and decimal ruler and the application between various measuring devices. Topics include the identification of and use for: 6" ruler, protractor, micrometer, caliper, height gauge, dial indicator.
MFC Electrical Assembly - 27 req. hrs
In this course, apprentices will learn the processes for fabricating cable and harness assemblies, the tools associated with cable and harness fabrication, the process specifications associated with cable and harness fabrication, the processes and documents associated with cable and harness fabrication, and the preparation of cables to be over braided. The following specific processes are included in this course: strip, crimp, plug, close, forming, marking, connector plugging, and simple testing.

In this course, apprentices are instructed on the requirements associated with managing virgin and waste refrigerant and reclamation processes, which may include requirements associated with managing refrigerants used in servicing and repair of motor vehicle air-conditioning systems.
Basic Wheel Alignment - 15 req. hrs
In this course, apprentices will learn the theory and principles of the geometry associated with the suspension and steering systems on motor vehicles. Apprentices will also learn how to use the equipment required to check the geometry of the suspension systems and how to adjust the system.
